Triple Bun Updo

If you live in a hot humid area, you know lots of easy updo hairstyles are necessary.  It’s so hot and sticky we like to get our hair off the neck.  Todays, Triple Bun is perfect for a variety of occasions.

Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Requirement: 5-10 minutes

Skill Level: Medium

Step-By-Step Instructions:

1. Divide the hair into three horizontal sections.  Secure each with elastic in the center.
2. {Optional} you can braid the top section as shown in the photos.
3. Create a regular three strand braid with each of the three ponytails.  Secure with a small elastic.
4. Pancake each of the braids to create fullness to the braid.
5. Pick up one braid at a time, wrap it around its base to create a bun.  Secure with bobby pins.
6. Finish with hairspray {if desired}.
