Hello! We are back with a new hairstyle that is perfect for that transition from fall to winter. I love that it is so simple yet very beautiful. To see your own photo recreations of this style featured in our app, feel free to tag your photos on IG with: #CGHFloatingInfinity Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, hair elastics, bobby pins, hairspray {if desired}.
Time Requirement: 5-10 minutes
Skill Level:Hard
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Pick up a small section on the top of your head and divide into two pieces.
- Take a “little” piece from the outside of your “left” section. Cross over the “left” piece and then under the “right” piece.
- Now pick up a new section of hair on the “right” side (just under your top section) and cross underneath your “little” piece (just brought from the left side). Cross it over the “right” piece and then over the “left” piece.
- Combine your “little” outside piece with your “right” piece.
- Pick up a new small piece of hair on the left side. Cross it under your “little” piece, over the left piece and under your right piece.
- Add your little outside piece to your left piece.
- Pick up a small new piece of hair on the right side. Cross it under your little piece, over the right piece and under your left piece.
- Add your little outside piece to your right piece.
- Continue the above steps until you braid half of your hair up. (You could braid all the way down or change to a regular infinity braid.)
- To change to an infinity braid; take your remaining “little” piece and make a figure 8 pattern. Wrap it up around the right piece and then cross under the left piece.
- Continue that figure 8 pattern with your “little” piece until you run out of hair.
- Secure your infinity braid with a small elastic.
- Finish with hairspray {if desired}.
