New to braiding or just looking for a hairstyle that’s relatively easy? No problem! Pull-thru braids are a fun and simple way to achieve any ideal look you’re going for. I seriously can’t get enough of Pull-Thru Braids! They are such simple hairstyles to do and certainly easy hairstyles for even a beginner to pull off. You don’t even need to know how to braid since the Pull-Thru braid is really a faux braid! Check out 3 of my favorite pull-thru hairstyles.

Heart Pull-Thru Braid
If you’re looking for a cute hairstyle to mix up your hair routine, then this is the hairstyle for you. This look is super fun and creative and one of my absolute favorites! This hairstyle was inspired by a few of our past tutorials, as well as my long-time braiding friend Nina Starck on Instagram. This heart hairstyle is also excellent for women and girls of all ages and a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It would not, however, be something I would recommend if you plan to be super active that day. While the pull-through portion of the braid will likely hold up very well, the top heart may lose its shape if you are playing sports, dancing, exercising, etc.
Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 8-10 small hair elastics, hairspray or spray wax

Lace Pull-Thru Rosette Bun
A great part about the Pull-Thru hairstyles is that they can be styled in so many different ways! This half-up look is simple yet elegant, and the rosette adds the perfect touch. Pair with a cute blouse or floral dress, and you’ll be ready for a day out. To accomplish this style, I took the Pull-Thru Braid to a new level by adding hair only from one side to create a lace braid effect. I then used a regular 3-strand braid to create a nice rosette bun at the end of the simple Pull-Thru braid. In the end, I have a gorgeous hairstyle that looks amazing!
