Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, small hair elastics, hairspray {if desired}.
Time Requirement: 3-5 minutes
Skill Level: Easy
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Whether you have dirty hair or clean hair, try spraying dry shampoo at your roots to give grip and texture to this style.
- Take a small section on top and secure with a small elastic. Pull a little at the from to get a little height.
- Pick up a second section of hair about 2-3 inches down from the first section and add to the first section of hair. Secure with a small elastic.
- Puff out the bubble section. (this is the hair from section #1)
- Repeat by picking up a new section of hair a couple of inches down from the 2nd section. Add new hair to existing hair and secure with an elastic.
- Puff out the bubble.
- Go back and pull a little on the hair around your face to create a little volume. I like a softer look.
- Pick up all remaining hair and create a messy bun. (See video for Annie’s messy bun technique).
- Spray with hairspray {if desired}.
